Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 Cup Brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Medium Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 1/8 Cups All-purpose Flour (1 1/4 Cup if you want them less crisp)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 Cup Chopped nuts (or more, if you like)
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate chips
- 1/2 Cup Cooked lentils ("al dente")

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugars together, cream in egg and vanilla.
- Mix flour with salt and baking soda, add to creamed ingredients.
- Add lentils, chips, and nuts.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet or parchment paper. Bake about 9 minutes.
