Ingredients
- Lentils
- 1 Pound Timeless Lentils, dried
- 2 Quarts Water or broth
- 1/2 Cup Carmelized onions
- 2 Tablespoons Garlic, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato paste
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- Patties
- 4 Medium to Large Eggs
- 1 Cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh herbs (your preference)
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Black pepper, freshly cracked

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients for lentils and put them in a crock pot to cook for 4 to 5 hours. Cook the lentils until all the liquid has been absorbed and the lentils are soft, but still hold their shape. When they are done, chill them overnight.
- The next day, add the rest of the ingredients and form the mixture into patties. Place the patties on greased baking sheets. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
- Cool the patties, stack in plasticware to store.
- To serve, grill patties in an iron skillet until well browned.
